| Miller, Hill, Napoleon and Granholm - an All-Star line up at HEAT® Anniversary Breakfast |
The Help Eliminate Auto Thefts (HEAT®) program celebrated its 14th anniversary on October 19, 1999 at the Crowne Plaza Pontchartrain Hotel. But it wasnt your typical birthday party. The soiree included winners of the "Investigators of the Year" Award, the debut of HEATs new public service announcement with Detroit Piston Grant Hill and Detroit Police Chief Benny Napoleon and featured speaker Atty. Gen. Jennifer M. Granholm. A couple hundred people turned out to help HEATs new Director Terri Miller recap and salute the programs 14 years of success.
