The Auto Theft Prevention Authority, in partnership with AAA Michigan and H.E.A.T., conducts free VIN etching events throughout the state of Michigan from May to September of each year. You do not have to be insured by AAA or be a member of their auto club to participate. Bring your vehicle and proof of ownership (vehicle registration or title) to the location near you.
